Personal credo: Love, sincerity, and courage.

精神信条:爱,真诚,勇气。

As time has quietly passed, the completion of this doctoral dissertation also marks the end of my long journey as a student. At this moment, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my Ph.D. supervisors, Prof. Chris Ding and Prof. Tongxin Li, for their invaluable guidance, unwavering support, and insightful feedback throughout my research journey. Their mentorship has been instrumental in shaping both this thesis and my growth as a researcher.

Even now, I still vividly recall my first discussion with Prof. Ding on robust principal component analysis, as well as my first meeting with Prof. Li in Daoyuan Building. It has been a great honor to pursue my doctoral studies under their guidance. Prof. Ding's rigor and dedication to research will continue to influence me throughout my life, and I am equally grateful to Prof. Li for his guidance and encouragement during my Ph.D. journey.

I would also like to sincerely thank my dissertation committee: Prof. Jicong Fan (Thesis Committee Chair), Prof. Yixiang Fang, Prof. Hong Cheng (Examiner from CUHK), and Prof. James Kwok (Examiner from HKUST), for their valuable time, thoughtful feedback, and insightful suggestions on my dissertation.

Finally, I am deeply grateful to my family and friends for their constant love and support, especially my parents, whose unconditional love and encouragement have always given me the strength to face challenges and overcome difficulties. The experiences and growth I have gained during my Ph.D. will remain one of the greatest treasures of my life. My heartfelt thanks go to all of you.
